March 16–24, 2027 · Project Inlakech · Tulum, Mexico
Following the profound retreats we shared in 2023 and 2026, we feel called to gather again.
This third journey will be smaller, deeper, and more experiential. It is by invitation only and limited to 18 therapists and facilitators.
Something became very clear to us during our previous retreats: when therapists step out of the role of holding others and allow themselves to be held, a very different kind of work becomes possible.
For eight days, we will live together in the jungle at Project Inlakech. We will step away from our practices, our clients, our responsibilities—and, as much as possible, from our professional identities.
Less talking. More experiencing.
As therapists, we are very good at understanding, explaining, interpreting, and finding language for what happens inside us. But sometimes our knowledge can also become a place to hide.
Here, we want to move beyond what we already know.
Through movement, breath, silence, nature, water, music, bodywork, ritual, group process, rest, laughter, and honest human encounter, we will explore ourselves from the inside.
There may be beauty and joy. There may also be resistance, vulnerability, discomfort, and moments when we would rather return to familiar ground. We welcome all of it. Going deeper is not always comfortable.
One of the things we treasure most about this gathering is that everyone brings something to the circle.
Each participant will be invited to lead the group for a period of time and share something genuinely their own—a therapeutic process, movement, meditation, inquiry, creative practice, ritual, or perhaps something entirely unexpected.
For a moment, you lead.
Then you return to the circle and allow yourself to be led.
We become teachers, participants, mirrors, witnesses, and companions for one another.
There is no need to impress anyone here. No need to arrive with answers. In fact, we are most interested in what becomes possible when accomplished therapists allow themselves not to know.
We will swim in cenotes, walk through the jungle, gather around the fire, eat together, rest together, work together, and create enough spaciousness for the unplanned moments—the conversations, tears, laughter, silence, and connections that often become the most meaningful part of a retreat.
This is not a retreat for everyone.
It is a small gathering for people we trust and feel will contribute something meaningful simply by being who they are.
18 people. By invitation only. Eight days together in the Mayan jungle.
Come with your experience.
Come with your gift.
And perhaps most importantly, come with the part of you that is still curious, unfinished, and willing to be surprised.
