This Retreat is by invitation only, and it is limited to 18 participants.

Following the profound gatherings of 2023 and 2026, we are coming together again.

This third retreat was born from something we discovered in the previous journeys: when therapists step out of the familiar role of holding others and allow themselves to be held, something different becomes possible.

For eight days, we will live together in the jungle at Project Inlakech—not primarily to talk about our work, but to enter it through our own bodies, hearts, relationships, resistance, vulnerability, and presence.

Less talking. More experiencing.

Most of us know how to explain what we feel. We know the language of trauma, attachment, defenses, projection, transference, and healing. These are valuable maps. But a map is not the territory.

For these eight days, we want to spend more time in the territory.

Through movement, breath, nature, water, silence, ritual, music, bodywork, group process, ancient traditions, rest, laughter, and honest human encounter, we will explore what happens when we loosen our professional identities and meet one another simply as people.

There will be discomfort at times. There will be resistance. There may be moments when we would rather retreat into what we know. We don’t see this as something going wrong. Going deeper often begins precisely where our familiar strategies stop working.

From Therapist to Participant—and Back Again

One of the foundations of this retreat is reciprocity.

There is no single teacher standing at the front of the room with all the answers.

Each participant arrives with years of life experience, therapeutic practice, mistakes, discoveries, intuition, and something uniquely their own to offer.

During our time together, each therapist will have an opportunity to lead the group and share a piece of their work or their gift. It might be a process, movement practice, meditation, creative exploration, therapeutic approach, inquiry, ritual, or something that cannot easily be categorized.

We become each other’s teachers, witnesses, mirrors, and fellow travelers.

And then we return to being participants again.

This movement between leading and surrendering, knowing and not knowing, holding and being held is at the heart of the retreat.

Why We Return

The retreats of 2023 and 2026 reminded us that something powerful happens when experienced therapists gather without needing to perform expertise.

The conversations become more honest.

The masks become less necessary.

And beneath our methods and professional identities, we encounter the person who chose this work in the first place.

Perhaps that is where leadership begins—not in having more answers, but in developing the capacity to remain present when we don’t have them.

We will have time to go inward and time to meet each other. Time in the jungle and cenotes. Time around the fire. Time for movement, silence, nourishment, integration, celebration, and simply doing nothing.

The schedule will have structure, but it will also breathe. We want enough spaciousness for what emerges between the planned moments.

An Invitation

This gathering is intentionally intimate.

It is for therapists and facilitators who have already done meaningful personal work and feel there is still somewhere deeper to go.

Not because something is missing.

Because we are alive, changing, and still becoming.

We invite you to come not only with your knowledge, but with your questions.

Bring the part of you that knows how to lead.

Bring the part that doesn’t know.

Bring your strength, your tenderness, your resistance, your humor, your uncertainty, and the gift that only you can bring to the circle.

For eight days, we will meet each other there.
